Who we are
sigurdaviation.com is run by Axellie Holding AB, trading as Sigurd Aviation (company reg. no. 559292-7460), Sturegatan 23B, 702 14 Örebro, Sweden. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: sigurdaviation@gmail.com, +46 73 340 00 03.
What personal data we collect
- Orders: name, delivery and billing address, e-mail, phone number, VAT number (business customers) and order details. Needed to deliver your purchase and give you support.
- Payments: handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your card number.
- Customer service: messages you send us through the chat on our site, by e-mail, or by direct message on Facebook or Instagram. When you use the website chat, we also derive your approximate location (country and city) from your IP address.
- Checkout reminders: if you start a checkout and enter your e-mail but do not complete the order, we may send you a reminder about your basket.
- Reviews: after a purchase we may e-mail you and ask for a review of the product.
- Newsletter and waitlists: your e-mail address, only if you sign up.
- Cookies and similar technology: see “Cookies” below.
Why we process your data
- To fulfil and deliver your order (performance of a contract).
- To answer your questions, send order updates, checkout reminders and review requests, and to prevent fraud (legitimate interest). You can opt out of reminders and review requests at any time via the link in the e-mail.
- To send newsletters and to use analytics and advertising cookies (consent).
- To meet legal obligations, for example bookkeeping (legal obligation).
Cookies
We use necessary cookies to make the shop work, for example the basket and the checkout. With your consent we also use cookies and tags from Google (Analytics, Ads and Merchant Center), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok to measure how the site is used and to show relevant ads. You choose when you first visit the site, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings on the site.
Who we share data with
We never sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary with providers who help us run the store:
- Payments: Stripe and WooPayments (card payments), Klarna and PayPal.
- Warehouse and shipping: KOSA Sport AB, which packs and ships our orders from Karlskoga, our shipping platform Sendify and carriers such as PostNord, DHL and FedEx.
- Hosting, database and e-mail delivery: our web host, our database provider (EU region) and e-mail services, including Resend for e-mails sent from the website chat.
- Reviews: the review service that sends review requests after a purchase.
- Advertising and analytics: Google, Meta and TikTok, only with your consent, and the marketing agency that manages our ads.
- Customer service: our website chat is answered by an AI assistant (Claude, from Anthropic), and you can ask for a person at any time. Your approximate location in the chat comes from the IP lookup service ipwho.is. Replies to Facebook and Instagram messages are drafted with AI and checked by a person before they are sent, and those messages reach us through Meta Platforms.
Our providers act as processors under agreements with us, or as independent controllers for their own services (for example payment providers and carriers).
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers, such as Google, Meta, TikTok, PayPal and Anthropic, may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Facebook and Instagram messages
If you message us on Facebook Messenger or Instagram, we receive your name and your message through Meta’s platform and use them only to answer you. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell or transfer it to others. You can also manage or delete the conversation in the Facebook or Instagram app.
How long we keep data
Order and invoice data is kept for 7 years, as required by Swedish bookkeeping law. Website chat messages are deleted after at most 24 months. Messages sent to us on Facebook or Instagram are kept only as long as needed to handle your question. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights and data deletion
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict our processing. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To request deletion of your data: e-mail sigurdaviation@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my data” from the e-mail address you used with us. We delete your personal data within 30 days and confirm to you, except data we are required by law to keep (for example bookkeeping records), which is deleted when that obligation ends. This also applies to data received through Facebook or Instagram messages.
You can always lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
