Kompatibilitet
Fungerar kabeln med standard GA-headset som Bose A20, David Clark eller Lightspeed Zulu?
Ja. Alla headset med standard GA dual-plug (PJ-068 / PJ-055) fungerar direkt — Bose A20, David Clark, Lightspeed Zulu, Faro, Sennheiser S1 och övriga. Ingen adapter behövs.
Fungerar den i helikopter?
Ja — med helikopterversionen. Helikoptrar har NATO/U-174/U-plugg, inte GA:s PJ-pluggar, så välj Cockpit Audio Recorder Helicopter: USB-C för inspelning på telefonen, eller 3,5 mm för kamera och GoPro (med GoPros egen 3,5 mm-mikrofonadapter). GA-kabeln passar inte i en helikopterpanel.
Hur fungerar det med Lemo-kontakt (t.ex. Airbus-standard)?
Med LEMO-versionen. Panelmatade LEMO-headset (Bose A20/A30, Lightspeed m.fl.) använder Cockpit Audio Recorder LEMO 3,5 mm, som spelar in till alla kameror och recorders med mikrofoningång — och till GoPro tillsammans med GoPros egen 3,5 mm-mikrofonadapter (GoPro Kit — LEMO). Någon USB-C-/telefonversion för LEMO finns inte idag.
Fungerar den med GoPro?
Ja — med 3,5 mm-versionen av kabeln (GA, helikopter NATO eller LEMO) tillsammans med GoPros egen 3,5 mm-mikrofonadapter, som ingår i våra GoPro-kit eller säljs separat. Kabelns 3,5 mm-plugg går in i adaptern och adaptern i kameran (HERO5–HERO13 Black, HERO5 Session). USB-C-versionen är byggd för telefon och surfplatta och fungerar inte med GoPro — och 3,5 mm-versionen spelar inte in till telefon. Välj alltså version efter det du filmar med.
Kan jag ladda telefonen via planet under inspelning?
Nej. USB-C-uttaget på kabeln är en ljudingång, inte ett laddningsuttag. Du kan inte ladda telefonen via flygplanets headsetjack. Vill du ladda under flygning — använd en separat powerbank eller planets 12V/USB-uttag om det finns.

Hur inspelning fungerar
Startar inspelningen automatiskt eller behöver jag starta en app?
Inspelningen startar inte automatiskt — du trycker på record i valfri inspelningsapp. Kabeln är passiv och kräver ingen app, inga drivrutiner och ingen ström. Telefonen känner igen den som en extern mikrofon direkt. Du väljer själv om du vill spela in bara ljud, eller ljud synkat med video.
Behöver jag en speciell app?
Nej. iPhone: använd Voice Memos (inbyggd, gratis, finns redan). Android: valfri inspelningsapp fungerar — t.ex. Easy Voice Recorder eller telefonens inbyggda. Kabeln dyker upp som extern mikrofon automatiskt.
Kan man spela in bara ljud, utan video?
Ja, absolut. Kabeln skickar bara ljud. Kör Voice Memos på iPhone eller valfri ljudinspelningsapp och du får en ren ljudfil. Vill du ha synkad video kör du din vanliga kameraapp parallellt.
Vad spelas egentligen in?
Allt som går in i ditt headset: ATC-kommunikation, intercom (medpiloter, passagerare), din egen röst och en del motorljud beroende på headsettyp. Kabeln kopplar in sig parallellt — du hör precis som vanligt i headsetet, inspelningen påverkar ingenting.

Basversionen kostar 799 kr, vilket motsvarar ungefär 70–75 €. Versionen med Lightning-adapter för iPhone 14 och äldre kostar 849 kr, cirka 75–80 €. Exakt pris i euro varierar med dagskurs — välj din variant i butiken för aktuell valutaomvandling.
Vilken version ska jag välja — standard eller med Lightning-adapter?
iPhone 15 och nyare har USB-C: välj basversionen (799 kr). iPhone 14 och äldre har Lightning: välj versionen med adapter (849 kr). Android, Samsung, Google Pixel och de flesta actionkameror: basversionen.

Vi fokuserar på Europa och erbjuder gratis frakt till alla europeiska länder. Leveranstid är normalt 3–5 arbetsdagar från Sverige. Ordrar skeppas inom 1–2 arbetsdagar. Skickar du till ett land utanför Europa — kontakta oss så ordnar vi det.
Kan ni garantera leverans till ett specifikt datum?
Vi kan inte garantera ett exakt leveransdatum — transportörer kan ha förseningar utanför vår kontroll. Compatibility
Does it work with standard GA headsets — Bose A20, David Clark, Lightspeed Zulu?
Yes. Any headset with a standard GA dual-plug (PJ-068 / PJ-055) works straight out of the box — Bose A20, David Clark, Lightspeed Zulu, Faro, Sennheiser S1 and others. No adapter required.
Does it work in a helicopter — including the Robinson R22?
Yes — with the Helicopter version. Helicopters use the NATO / U-174/U plug, not the GA PJ plugs, so choose the Cockpit Audio Recorder Helicopter: USB-C for recording on your phone, or 3.5 mm for cameras and GoPro (with the original GoPro 3.5 mm mic adapter). The GA cable does not fit a helicopter panel.
How does it work with a Lemo connector (e.g. Airbus standard)?
With the LEMO version. Panel-powered LEMO headsets (Bose A20/A30, Lightspeed and more) use the Cockpit Audio Recorder LEMO 3.5 mm, which records to any camera or recorder with a mic input — and to GoPro together with the original GoPro 3.5 mm mic adapter (GoPro Kit — LEMO). There is no USB-C/phone version for LEMO today.
Does it work with a GoPro?
Yes — with the 3.5 mm version of the cable (GA, Helicopter NATO or LEMO plug) together with the original GoPro 3.5 mm mic adapter, which is included in our GoPro Kits or sold separately. The cable's 3.5 mm plug goes into the adapter and the adapter into the camera (HERO5–HERO13 Black, HERO5 Session). The USB-C version is built for phones and tablets and does not work with GoPro — and the 3.5 mm version does not record to a phone. Pick the version for the device you film with.
Can I charge my phone through the headset jack during a flight?
No. The USB-C port on this cable is an audio input, not a charging port. You can't charge your phone via the aircraft's headset jack. For charging during flight, use a separate power bank or the aircraft's 12V/USB outlet if available.

How recording works
Does recording start automatically, or do I need to launch an app first?
Recording does not start automatically — you press record in any recording app of your choice. The cable is passive: no app required, no drivers, no power. Your phone recognises it as an external microphone immediately. You choose whether to record audio only, or audio synced with video.
Do I need a special app?
No. On iPhone, Voice Memos works perfectly — it's built in and already on your phone. On Android, any recording app works, for example Easy Voice Recorder or the phone's built-in recorder. The cable shows up as an external microphone automatically.
Can I record audio only, without video?
Yes. The cable carries audio only. Open Voice Memos on iPhone or any audio recording app and you'll get a clean audio file. If you want synced video, run your camera app alongside it.
What exactly gets recorded?
Everything you hear in your headset: ATC communications, intercom (co-pilot, passengers), your own voice, and some engine noise depending on your headset type. The cable taps in parallel — you hear everything normally in the headset, and the recording doesn't interfere with anything.

What is the price in euros?
The base version is 799 SEK, approximately 70–75 €. The version with a Lightning adapter for iPhone 14 and older is 849 SEK, approximately 75–80 €. The exact euro amount fluctuates with the exchange rate — select your variant in the shop for the current conversion.
Which version should I order — standard or with Lightning adapter?
iPhone 15 and newer have USB-C: order the base version (799 SEK). iPhone 14 and older have Lightning: order the version with adapter (849 SEK). Android, Samsung, Google Pixel and most action cameras: base version.

We focus on Europe and offer free shipping to all European countries. Delivery typically takes 3–5 working days from Sweden. Orders ship within 1–2 working days. Shipping outside Europe? Contact us and we'll arrange it.
Can you guarantee delivery by a specific date?
We can't guarantee a specific delivery date — carriers can experience delays outside our control. Choose express shipping at checkout if you have a firm deadline, but we can't guarantee specific days. Contact us in advance if you have a time-critical need and we'll see what's possible.

Est-ce compatible avec les casques GA standard — Bose A20, David Clark, Lightspeed Zulu ?

Comment fonctionne l'enregistrement
L'enregistrement démarre-t-il automatiquement ou faut-il lancer une application au préalable ?
L'enregistrement ne démarre pas automatiquement — vous appuyez sur "enregistrer" dans l'application de votre choix. Le câble est passif : aucune application requise, aucun pilote, aucune alimentation. Votre téléphone le reconnaît immédiatement comme microphone externe. Vous choisissez d'enregistrer en audio seul ou avec vidéo.
Ai-je besoin d'une application spéciale ?
Non. Sur iPhone, Voice Memos fonctionne parfaitement — c'est l'application intégrée, déjà présente sur votre téléphone. Sur Android, n'importe quelle application d'enregistrement convient, par exemple Easy Voice Recorder ou l'enregistreur intégré du téléphone. Le câble apparaît automatiquement comme microphone externe.
Puis-je enregistrer uniquement l'audio, sans vidéo ?
Oui, tout à fait. Le câble transmet uniquement de l'audio. Ouvrez Voice Memos sur iPhone ou n'importe quelle application audio pour obtenir un fichier son propre. Si vous souhaitez une vidéo synchronisée, lancez votre application caméra en parallèle.
Qu'est-ce qui est exactement enregistré ?
Tout ce que vous entendez dans votre casque : communications ATC, intercom (copilote, passagers), votre propre voix, et une partie du bruit moteur selon le type de casque. Le câble se branche en parallèle — vous entendez tout normalement dans le casque, l'enregistrement n'interfère avec rien.
